WHAT WERE MY CHALLENGES?
Well, where do I begin. I had soooooo many challenges. While creating my welcome post, I tried multiple times to add an image with each trial deeming unsuccessful. The image was applied but however wasn't appearing due to two reasons. One of which being that the image was too large. I therefore had to reduce the size of the image in order for it to be seen. After consulting with a classmate, I realized that my image could be seen but another problem arouse, my written welcome was not visible because the colour of the words was the exact same colour as my background. So then , I decided to change the background. I had now become frustrated. After change the background the image disappeared again. I realized this blog was causing too many problems, so I deleted it and started a new blog with the help of one my classmates. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
WHAT DID I LEARN?
Going into this week's lesson I had absolutely no knowledge of blogging.
A blog is a website, usually operated by an individual with regular entries of commentary, description of events or other material. I am now able to create blogs and work on blogs. I learnt that a blog can be used for multiple purposes including educating persons on specific topic and sharing ideas and interests, just to name a few.
I see myself introducing blogging in my classroom. I intend to have students create blogs where they can share information learnt from my lessons and activities such as practicals done in class. I will also create a blog intended to share homework assignments and activities planned for my students as well posting progress of my class, so that parents can viewed and be able to be a part of their children's learning.
THANKS FOR VIEWING
REMEMBER TO RETURN TO MY QUEENDOM!!!
